It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Cherry of Arlington, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard True and Edna True (Huse); her husband Philip Arthur Cherry; her brother Ronnie True; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Cherry and June Cherry.

She is survived by : her children, Juanita Depuy (Dan) of Wilmer, AL., Bobette Hardin (Gary) of Arlington, Kay Beaupre (Joe) of Milwaukee, Lyn Stribling of Anderson, SC., Craig Winningham (LeAnn) of Lebanon and Doug Cherry of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Chandra O'Mary (Jeremy), Ben Eavenson, Katie Kries (Damon), Charlotte Winningham, Alan Winningham (Lauren), Gil Winningham (Tanya), Alisa Zakula (John), Charlie Pennington, Sophie Winningham, Gary Hardin (Hayley), Gabrielle Hardin, Emily Hardin, Chris Myers (Tessa) and Elizabeth Finley; her great grandchildren, Savanna, Ryleigh, Aiden, Elijah, Donovan, Jason, Prestyn, Bentlie, Carol, Von, Mordecai and April; her brother Maurice True (Linda); and her sister-in-law Carolyn True. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
