He is survived by : his wife Charlene McFerren; his children, Julie Danaus, Charlynn Avery, Jeneice McFerren and Scott McFerren; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Welder, Timothy Welder, Shaylynn McFerren, Scott McFerren Jr., Ferren Dickey, Geneva Dickey, Sophie McFerren, Ilynn Avery and Isabeau Avery.
