He is survived by : his parents, Donald Lee and Orlena Ellen Rater Sr. (Weaver) of Attica; his wife Joyce Ann Bryant; his sons, Toby Rater (Alecia) and Donald Lee Rater III (Mary); his siblings, Rick Rater (Sherry) and Mary Roe; his grandchildren, Sabrina Laws (Levi), Tyler Rater (Alyssa Nixon), Jacobi Rater and Scarlett Rushin; and his great grandchildren, Karson and Waylen.
