He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine Goldsmith and Albert Goldsmith; his wife Rita Kerker; and his brother Elmer Goldsmith. He is survived by : his children, Cathy Laugle (Paul) of New Point, Connie Bowman (Jeff) of Batesville, Carin Walsman (Toby) of Batesville, Carla Oesterling (Matt) of Batesville, Jim Goldsmith (Betty) of Batesville, John Goldsmith (Darlene) of Batesville and Joe Goldsmith (Janeen) of Batesville. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
