It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George F. Amberger of Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ida Amberger and Jacob Amberger; his wife Dolores Cramer; and his siblings, Joseph Amberger, Mary Johnson, Rosemary Luers and Catherine Wells.

He is survived by : his son John F.; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Amberger of Batesville; his brother Bernard Amberger of Morris, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bradley J. Amberger (Michelle), Heather Amberger Weber (Jeff) and Kyle Amberger (Joy); his great grandchildren, Emma, Alex Weber, Hannah and Jackson Amberger; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Morgan and Christian McConnell.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Andrew's Health Campus.
