He was predeceased by : his parents, George A. and Virginia; his daughter April Ann Mehlon; and his brother Gerald Mehlon. He is survived by : his wife Yvonne Gauck of Batesville; his children, Gwen Reverman (Mike) of Batesville, Chad Mehlon (Cara) of Carmel and Brad Mehlon (Jenny) of Batesville; his siblings, Melissa Musleh (Elly) of Carmel, Randy Mehlon (Julie) of Baton Rouge, Mick Mehlon (Mary) of Batesville and Gerry Mehlon (Amy) of Batesville; his grandchildren, Cassie, Hunter, Karly, Ava Rae, Lily, Nathan and Ethan; and his great grandchild Za'Kira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Batesville Knights of Columbus Hall (624 Delaware Rd, Batesville, IN 47006).

In lieu of flowers…. Georges favorite charity was St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
