He was predeceased by: his parents, Flora Garcia and Francisco Garcia; his former wife Marieta; his son Jorge Garcia; and his sister Thelma Manauis.
He is survived by: his wife Gemma; his children, Monina Baker of Hartford, Connecticut, Joselito (Annette) of Whitefish Bay, Jaime (Imelda) of Kent, Joel (Arlene) of Batesville and Joseph of Batesville; his brothers, Dr. Romulo Garcia of Hernando, Dr. Manuel Garcia of Hernando and Alejo Garcia of Wake Forest; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Garcia, Emily Garcia, Jeremy Garcia, Jason Garcia, Isabella Garcia, Amanda Garcia, Justin Garcia and Megan Baker.
