It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tillie W. Jones of Bedford, Indiana, born in Russell Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Tillie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Tillie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Rueben Wooten and Cecil Wooten; and her husband Herbert Jones, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Raymond Sexton of Bedford, Barbara Mundy of Bedford, Rubin Jones of Tennessee, Herbert Jones, Jr. (Christina) of Scottland, IN and Tommy Jones (Mary) of Oolitic, IN. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren; 21 Great-Grandchildren; Several Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
