He is survived by: his children, Richard Nelson and Danielle McGuire; his grandchildren, Camden Nelson, Sidney Riley, Taylor Riley, Bailey Riley and Joseph McGuire Jr.; his great grandchildren, Robert Keever and Caroline Keever; and his sisters, Diane Baird, Dayle Sullivan and Dawn Jatczak.
