We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2019, at the age of 79, William Bennett Abney (Beech Grove, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Leonard and Mattie Lou Abney (Burdette); and his brother Marvin Dean Abney. He is survived by: his children, Gina Abney (James), Dana Winings (Keith) and Katelyn Whisner (Zachary); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Madision, Max, Makenzie Winings and Carter Whisner; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and James Kayden Abney; and his sister Connie Sue Turner (Eddie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
