She was predeceased by: her parents, George Helton and Margaret Moore Helton; and her siblings, Donna Kay and Mike Helton. She is survived by: her husband David Plont; her children, Amber Ogden, Ashley Plont, Jamie Plont (Kaley), Alex Plont, David Plont Jr. and Jeremy Bell (WrayDeana); and her siblings, Gail Tincher (Jody), Clarence Brannon (Cindy), David Brannon (Gloria), Jeffrey Brannon and Dale Brannon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
