Richard Pflum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Pflum of Bentonville, Indiana, born in Brownsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Pflum and Anna McQuinley Pflum; his siblings, Paul Pflum, Jr., Robert "Bob" Pflum, Lowell Pflum, Delores "Dody" Bates and Fran Caudle; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Bates, Walter Caudle and Malcom Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Pflum; his sons, Richard L. Pflum of Connersville and Ronald Pflum of Richmond; his grandchildren, Emily Flanigan (Austin), Olivia A. O'Connell (James), Alexandra "Alie" Pflum, Tyler C. Pflum and Hannah L. Giles; his great grandchildren, Stella Paige Flanigan, William Lee Flanigan, Lamont Earl Giles, Julia Mae "JuJu" O'Connell, Amelia Jo and Logan James; his siblings, David Pflum (Judy) of Connersville, Phillip Pflum (Diana) of Milton, Diane Jones (Jim) of Cincinnati, Marilyn Miles of Liberty and Carolyn Nutty (Dennis) of Liberty; and his sisters-in-law, Lona Pflum and Ruth Pflum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Bentonville Fire Department or St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
