The memory of Margaret (Marge) Rose George of Bloomfield, Indiana, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel D. George, Sr.; her parents, Gaylord Sparks and Mary Sparks (Merritt); her grandparents, William, Lou Sparks (Wade), Ernest B. and Jonquil Merritt (Haywood-Messick); her siblings, William Sparks, James Sparks, Eleanor Gay Sparks and Mary Jane Martindale-Royalty; and her in-laws, Arlo and Elsie George (Wright).
She is survived by: her children, Beth A. Seaton of Boonville, IN, Patricia J. Sullivan (Thomas) of Indianapolis, IN, Teri E. George of Charlotte, NC, Traci L. Harris of Bloomfield, IN and Samuel D. George, Jr. of Bloomfield, IN; her grandson Brandon M. Fish (Kim) of Rockport, IN; her daughter Jeannie Brooks (Walter) of Charleston, SC.; her siblings, Nancy Ochoa of San Antonio, TX, Cathi Delp (Chris) of Lafayette, IN and John Sparks (Janet) of Solsberry, IN; her sisters-in-law, Chrystal Sparks (Jim) of Sullivan, IN and Lucie Sparks (Bill) of Hessel, MI; her pet Teddy; and her caregivers, Sutton, Meagan, Stephanie and Chaplain Jeff. She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mineral Church (3175 E Mineral-Koleen Rd, Bloomfield, IN 47424).
