She was predeceased by: her parent Patricia Lucas (Pfaff); her sister Shannon Drake; her brother-in-law David Gibson; and her granddaughter Tammi Bridgewaters (Tyriq). She is survived by: her sons, Brandon Drake, David Brown Jr. (Boogie) and Nicholas Brown; her goddaughters, Fatima Al, Natalie Mojica and Darian Brown; her sisters, June Drake of Bloomington and Caryl Gibson of Bloomington; and her grandchildren, Samira, Romi, Kyrese, Lily, Amiah, Gabe and Keanna (Keke).
