She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Jackson Powell and Elizabeth Bailie Powell; her husband Kent Honeycutt; her sons, Kyle Honeycutt (Tara Little) of St. Louis, MO and Todd Honeycutt (Jupy) of Holland, MI; her grandchildren, Grant, Zachary and Jana Honeycutt; and her sisters, Leisa (Paul Pedone) and Nancy (Bill Wadsworth). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

For 30 years she volunteered with the American Red Cross / Hoosier Hills Food Bank sorting donated books.
