With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Howard Liggett Jr. (Bloomington, Indiana), born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy H., Sr. and Betty Jean Liggett. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Ann Johnston of Fort Wayne; his sons, Matthew (Marie Liu) of Santa Rosa, CA and Christopher (Susan); his granddaughters, Emma Fischer (Marissa Cavanaugh) and Fiona; and his sister King of Sebring, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of the Monroe County Public Library, or the American Cancer Society.
