He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fiechter and Salome Fiechter (Aschliman); his wife Phyllis Brickley; his siblings, Charles, Carl Fiechter, Dorothy Fiechter and Mary Jane Yergler; and his son-in-law Bruce Bedwell.
He is survived by: his children, Stan Fiechter (Lori) of Bluffton, Gary Fiechter (Stacey) of Bluffton, Brian Fiechter (Deb) of Bluffton, Keith Fiechter (Kathy) of Bluffton, Patty Pommer of Fort Wayne, Sharon Cole (Ben) of Suwanee, GA, Nancy Bedwell of Bluffton and Lisa Jolloff (Tim) of Fort Myers, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Fiechter, Claire Yergler, Jerry Brickley (Janice) and Earl Brickley (Shirley). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
