He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Blanford and Mary Louise Blanford (Murphy); his wife Jeanine Rose Stone; and his siblings, Ella Fitzgerald and Thomas Blanford.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Blanford (Karen) of Indianapolis, Maureen Paul of Irvine, Sean Blanford (Lisa) of Lewisville, Theresa Hildebrand (Jeff) of North Salem, Donna Widmer (Jason) of Marysville and Paul Blanford (Sarah) of Needham; and his sisters, Jane Menton of Kentucky, Theresa Hedrick of Indianapolis and Judy Neal of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (125 E Broadway St, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
