He is survived by: his wife Linda Byrd Wines; his children, Luella Berry, Sherry Byrd, Barbara Collins, Scott Wines and Carlos Byrd; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Reeves, Colin Byrd, William Scalf and April Scalf. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
