With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Fortwendel of Boston, Indiana, born in Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fortwendel and Melba Fortwendel (Cravens); his children, Beth Ann and Todd Vinson; and his brother Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Fisher; his children, Jarrod (Andrea) of Memphis, TN, Kristi Scott (Josh) of Tell City, IN, Carin Kelly (Scotty) of Owensboro, KY and Brian Vinson (Crystal) of Tell City, IN; and his siblings, Jody Fortwendel (Linda) of Troy, Angela Jackson (Ed) of Owensboro, KY, Rita Smith (Gary) of Tell City, John Fortwendel (Tara) of Troy and Sam Fortwendel (Ann) of Troy. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
