She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Frank and Wilma Mae Atkinson (Anderson); and her brothers, Joseph L. and Richard "Dick" E. Atkinson. She is survived by : her husband William D. Hudson; her daughters, Sherri C. Chaney, Brenda K. Gunion and Alyssa C Richards; and her brother Robert Atkinson. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren & 17 Great-Grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oxford Church of Christ (402 N 5th St, Oxford, IN 47971).
