He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Emmert and Marjorie Emmert; and his brother Ed Emmert. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Emmert; his children, Brad Emmert (Kathy) and Kim Emmert O'Dell (Steven); his grandchildren, Cassia Coulter and Wes Coulter; his sister Peggy Spratt; his sibling's children, Trevor Spratt, Taylor Spratt and Mallory Sullivan; and his pet Herbie.
State and local guidelines for social distancing and masking will be required.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Wabash Valley Community Foundation to the Sam and Joyce Emmert Family Fund.
