He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szymaszek and Florence Purcell Szymaszek. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Quigley Szymaszek; his children, Jim Szymaszek (Debbie) of Hammond, Dennis Szymaszek of Hobart, Susan Hyatt of Clearwater, Jane Coffman (Kevin) of Griffith and Amy Scrivnor (Jay) of Hebron; his brother Richard Szymaszek of Lowell; and his sisters-in-law, Claudia Szymaszek of Hobart and Donna Lauerman of Fairlawn, Ohio. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
