He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Himes and Opal Irene Himes (Tussey); and his siblings, Betty Barber, Linda Hokey, Doris Burch and Kenny Himes.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Rowe of Connersville, David Himes of Rushville and Shawn Gibbs of New Castle, Indiana; his siblings, Donna Foster of Brookville, Barbara Milbourn of Dearborn Heights, Michigan and George Himes of Brookville; and his pet Prince. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
