He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond B. Lamping and Bernadette V. Lamping; his daughter Cindy Lamping; and his siblings, Doris Suttman, Lorine C. Fehrman and Raymond G. Lamping.
He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Helms; his partner's children, Kim Helms of Sidney, Michael Helms of Florida and Bridgett Helms of Brookville; his grandchildren, Shantelle Fogt and Elizabeth Thomas; his godchild Cheyenne Wilson; and his sister Esther A. Young. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
