With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Sottong of Brookville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 72. Though Joanne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joanne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Harnishfeger and Lawana Myers Harnishfeger; and her siblings, Mary Ann Birkenheuer, Judy Harnishfeger and Jerry F. Harnishfeger.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Sottong of Brookville; and her brother Paul Harnishfeger (Mary) of Martinsville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
