He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Ortman and Cecilia F. Ortman (Niedenthal); and his brothers, Robert A. Ortman, Thomas H. Ortman and James W. Ortman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rita M. Apsley of Brookville, Indiana, Mary Ann Deffner (Dale) of Brookville, Indiana, Eileen M. Hyde (James) of Brookville, Indiana, Jennifer F. Stivers (Rene) of Brookville, Indiana and Edward L. Ortman (Connie) of Brookville. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
