He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Abner and Gladys Ellison Simonson (McAllister); his wife Edna Louise Wright; and his siblings, Delores, Mary Alice, Robert, Henry and Jerry.
He is survived by: his children, Laurel Elliston Adams of Florida, Kimber Simonson of Brookville and Shawn Simonson of Bright, Indiana; and his sisters, Virginia, Norma Jean and Luana. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
