She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman G. Scarvie and Agnes Scarvie (Oliver); her husband William E. "Bill" Boren; her stepson Joe Boren; and her daughter-in-law Sherri Boren.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Brenda Cole of Speedway, Laura Groninger (Danny) of Plainfield, Nancy Glatt (Tom) of Anthem, AZ, Sharon Brady of Brownsburg, William "Eddie" Boren Jr. (Kris) of Cleremont and Karen Boren of Milford, OH; her brother Oliver Scarvie of Medford, Oregon; and her foster daughter Cathy Stevens (Richard) of Martinsville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cottonwood Christian Church (2523 W Cottonwood Rd, Morgantown, IN 46160). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
