He is survived by: his wife Judy Johanningsmeier James; his sons, Doug James (Susie Shepler) of Sullivan and David James (Jana) of Sullivan; his grandchildren, Max James (Arial), Sepehara James (Jamie), Haylie Dugan (Justin) and Landrey James; his great grandchildren, Deavany Brooks, Clinton Hamilton and Jeb Hamilton; and his mother-in-law Barbara Johanningsmeier of Sullivan.
