She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Sims; her sons, Eric P. Sims (Kristin) and Brent D. Sims (Hillary); her grandson Augustus Sims; and her brothers, Samson Gros, Jr. (Bernice), Ray Gros and Gibson. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
