“My heart goes out to her dear family who will surely miss this dynamic, loving, compassionate, humorous person. She meant a great deal to me as I started my Catholic journey, and became a Lay Missionary of Charity. She was so open-hearted and welcoming to me, and we became fast friends quite quickly. I regret that circumstances prevented me from seeing her these past few years (my husband has developed many serious health issues), but whenever we talked, it was like no time had passed.”
