With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Clarkston of Centerville, Indiana, who passed away on April 13, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clarkston and Ruby Allen Clarkston; his siblings, Judy Campbell, Larry, David and Bobby Clarkston; and his daughter Renee Clarkston.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simpson Clarkston; his children, Lynnette Clarkston and Joey Clarkston of Brunswick, Georgia; his stepsons, Joe Mendenhall (Mary) of Eaton and Jeffrey Mendenhall (Cory) of Carmel, Indiana; his grandchildren, Andrew, Kayla, Tyler, Ryan, Madison, Emerald, James, Cooper, Seth and Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Allen and Lindsay; his brothers, Jack Clarkston (Patty) of Liberty, Tom Clarkston (Teresa) of Liberty and Pat Clarkston of Liberty; his close friends, Don Mattix, Dale Canter, Dick and Sue Geiling; and his pet Jasmine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
