With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan M. Poindexter of Centerville, Indiana, born in Rossville, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Cornell and Catherine Lewis Cornell; and her brothers-in-law, Tony Terharr and John Ingram. She is survived by: her children, Steve Poindexter (Tammi) of Centerville, Kim Moore (John) of Centerville, Debbie Mulinaro (Mark) of Indianapolis and Traci Bousman (Ronnie) of Centerville; her sisters, Jean Terharr of Williamsburg and Kay Carlson (John) of Milford, Illinois; and the father of her children Ralph Poindexter. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we regret to inform you that services for Joan M. Poindexter will be private with Pastor Allen Henderson and Pastor Doug Wheeler officiating.
