Though James Edward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Walton and Marjorie Manley Walton; and his brother Ernest L Walton. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Laura Hampton, James P Walton (Gayle), Julia Gearing (Mike), Joseph Walton and Jonathon Walton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Worthington Christian Church (8145 N High St, Columbus, OH 43235).
