It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew J. Royko (Chesterton, Indiana), who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Royko and Louise Royko; his wife Diane Royko (Truth); and his siblings, Barbara Wagner, Joseph Royko, Christine Byrne, Marian Cheney, Mary Siorek, Frances Berndt, Anna Royko, Frank Royko, John Royko and Anthony Royko.
He is survived by: his daughters, June Wuerthele (Brian) of Chesterton, IN, Joan Patillo of Chesterton, IN and Cathy Mark (Dave) of Westville, IN; his grandchildren, Andrew Jensen, Kyla Patillo, Jennifer Mark, Jessica Mark and Cassandra Wuerthele; his great grandchildren, A. J. Jensen and Sydney Wienhoft; and his sister Louise Stowe of Porter, IN. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
