"Babe" Poparad (Schultz) of Chesterton, IN.; his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Kroner; his godmother Jean Ellis of Porter, IN; his brother Paul Poparad (MaryAnn) of Lisle, IL; his sister-in-law Susan Brooks (Craig) of Lexington, SC.; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda McDaniel (Ben) of Crystal Lake, IL, David Poparad (MaryAnn) of Orlando, FL, Nathaniel Poparad (Nancy) of Crown Point, IN, Benjamin Poparad (Natacia) of Greenville, SC, Justin Brooks (Heather) of Chapin, SC, Ann Hurni (David) of Westville, IN, Tom Brooks (Kelly) of Wildwood, MO and Jennifer Leeson (Mike) of Schererville, IN.

Diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, Craig assisted in "flattening the curve" of the COVID 19 Pandemic by testing negative NINE times.
