He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Zeigler and Lillie Zeigler (Prough); his son Timmy Zeigler; and his siblings, May Wappes, Gerardine Growcock, Martha Wappes, Betty Crabill, Barbara Nicodemus, Ben, John Henry, Marshall, Lee, Clarence, Donald, Ralph and Jay.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Jeanie" Zeigler; his daughters, Vickie Hadley II (Roger), Pamela Ott (Jerry) and Brenda Cormany (Steve); and his sister Joy Follis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
