He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fick and Margaret Fick (Hemsoth). He is survived by: his sister Diane Swihart (Andrew); and his sibling's children, Hannah Swihart and Daniel Swihart.

A memorial fund will be set up in Dennis's name for a scholarship into the Electrical or HVAC trades, C/O Sable International, LLC.
