He was predeceased by: his parent Walter R.; his sister Norma Gordon; and his brothers-in-law, Don Schnurr and Edward Tom. He is survived by: his parent Frances M. Fox (Siefer); his children, Richard G. Fox (Joellyn) of Fort Wayne, Barbara M. A'Hearn (Robert) of Churubusco, Patricia and Fisher of Churubusco; and his siblings, Thomas Fox, Paul E. Fox of Anderson, Betty Tom of Angola, Georgean Dice (Paul) of Huntertown and Margie Schnurr of Dallas. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
