He was predeceased by: his father J. L. "Jack" Hill; and his son Jeffery Hill. He is survived by: his mother Betty Hill (Claxton); his daughters, Rachael Franklin (Jim) and Janelle Hill (Tony Parker); his daughter-in-law Sarah Hill; his siblings, Judy Womack (Tom), Doris Pence (Jay), Harold Hill (Pam) and David Page (Nellie); and his grandsons, Gavin and Edison.
