William Claxton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2021, at the age of 91, William Claxton of Churubusco, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claxton and Lura Claxton (Diffendarfer); his sons-in-law, Tom Alberding and David James; his siblings, Don, Paul Claxton and Mary Lou Grawcock; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Shearer, Jack Hill and Robert Grawcock.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Claxton; his children, Martha Coffing (Bill), James "Jim" Claxton (Joy), Mary James, Becky Clapp (Ric), Debbie Gemple and Lori Troyer (Randy); and his siblings, Betty Hill, Annie Shearer and Ray Claxton (Sue). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
