The memory of John Charles Sloan Sr. of Clarksville, Indiana, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William, Sr. Sloan and Charlotte Sloan (Kilfoil); his former wife Mary; and his siblings, William "Buddy" Sloan, Jr. and Patricia Rimmel.
He is survived by: his sons, John Sloan, Jr. (Stacy) and Larry Sloan; his grandchildren, John III, Sakya, Abigail (Braydon), Jessica, Skylar, Spencer and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Grace and Madelyn; and his fiancée Connie Stein.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
