She was predeceased by : her parents, Abraham Hardin and Bessie Vivian Hardin (Love); her husband Charles Birdsong; her children, Linda Thompson and Abdul Rasheed Rasoo; and her grandson Tyrone Thompson.
She is survived by : her son Wendell Lee Hardin; her grandchildren, Thaddius Hardin, Chanda Thompson, Mark Williams, Andre Coleman, Eddie Thompson, Jeff Thompson and Mike Thompson; her nieces, Pearl Hull, Cynthia Love, Wanda Clay Petty and Norma Dudley; and her nephew Cornell Strawater.
