She was predeceased by: her parents, Erschel Long and Mabel Kitterman Long; her husband Leo; and her children, David Polen and Dottie Allen.

She is survived by: her son Charles "Sam" Polen (Sarah) of Memphis, IN. She is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
