It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Minor (Clay City, Indiana), who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. James Minor and Joanna Faye Minor (Jackson); his grandparents, Bud, Elsie Minor (Highland), Clarence and Jewell Jackson (Modesitt); his parents-in-law, Keith and Jackie Stearley; and his brothers-in-law, Freddie Brough and Robert Head.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Stearley; his son Jesse Minor (Laura); his grandchildren, Chaela Taylor (Nicholas), Malerie Minor, Emma Minor and Isaac Minor; his sister Joanna Lynne Brough; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Stearley, Sandy Stearley and Rita Sinders (Richard). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home (301 E 8th St, Clay City, IN 47841). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
