He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rieches and Ella Shoemarker Rieches; his children, Ray, Brian Rieches and Jeanie; and his sister Gladys Rink of Henderson, Nev..

He is survived by: his wife Jean Rieches; his daughter Sue Ann Cooperrider (Darrell) of Tarpin Springs; his sister Aldine Rittenauer of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Jordan and Sean Cooperrider; and his brother-in-law Mike Wirz of Brownstown, IL..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that if desired, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
