He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Joseph and Beulah Stuper Bertlino; his sister Joan Walters; his granddaughter Billie Jo Evitt; and his great grandchild Krystina Sheppard.

He is survived by: his wife Betty of Clinton; his children, Russell Anderson (Barbara) of Paris, IL and Gertrude Studey (Randy) of Clinton; his sister Julia Pender (Preston) of Centenary; and his grandchildren, Amanda Sheppard (Thomas) of Paris, Rachel Powell (Scott) of Paris, Joe Studey (Dorcas) of Paris, Danny Studey Clinton, Diedre Anderson of Paris, Kathryn Anderson of Paris and Christopher Asbury of Paris.
