He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Winings and Marian Winings (Dunn). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Winings (Black); his son Scott Winings (Jan); his grandchildren, Jesseca Bradbury (Reed), Andrea Harrison (Khalil), Julie Collenbaugh (Jacob), Brian Winings (Courtney) and Noah Winings; his great grandchildren, Lyra, Hazel, Maeve and Rex; and his siblings, Anna Godsey (Michael), Tom Winings, Sterling R. Winings Jr. and Arthur E. Winings.
