It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Maxwell of Colfax, Indiana, born in Frankfort, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Lowery and Catherine Lowery (Loveless); her husband Donald L. Maxwell; her daughter Cathy; her son-in-law Bob Eaton; her grandson Brandon Maxwell; and her sister Nora.
She is survived by : her children, Cindy Eaton of Lafayette, David Maxwell of Channahon, IL and Richard Maxwell of Colfax; her grandchildren, Kara Rees (Todd), Brian Eaton (Tasha), Jessica Maxwell, Kyle Maxwell, G. G., Ryker Eaton, Rowen Eaton, Hannah Rees and Maggie Rees; and her brother Max Lowery (Marilyn). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Colfax Christian Church, Darlington Public Library, or Darlington Conservation Club.
